Don't Miss Out On These 10 Unique Oahu Elopement Spots

Hawai’i is undoubtedly beautiful—yet with the delicate nature of an island ecosystem, we have had issues with caring for the ʻāina while still finding gorgeous and ethical places to have our special moments. but don’t worry! with respect, awareness and beauty, we are moving forward. there are still AMAZING, ethical (pretty empty) places to say “I do” and to be fully present with your lover here on O’ahu. 🕺

e hele kākou!

outdoors:

1. Makapuʻu

gorgeous, accessible, full of spectacular views without the pain of hiking there… what could be better? plus, it’s easy to jump in the water after the ceremony if that’s your thing ;)

2. Halona Cove

my very favourite beach on the island, this place is perfect for sunrise ceremonies. it’s otherworldly and just a quick 5-minute walk/hike down to the cove.

3. Ho’omaluhia Botanical Garden

there is nowhere better than Ho’omaluhia for green, which is well known and loved for its gorgeous views of the Ko’olau mountain range and its lush collection of local botany.

4. Kualoa Beach Park

another view of the Ko’olau, this time from the beachside! right across from Mokoli’i, this gorgeous, almost prehistoric, beach park is perfect for a morning or early afternoon ceremony.

5. Kualoa Ranch

within Kualoa Ranch is the classic, awe-inspiring views of the mountain that you see in the Jurassic films. for a truly unique, unbeatable, private ocean and mountain view, this is the spot.

6. Lai’e Falls

the most adventurous of this bunch, Lai’e falls is on private land and one of the only legal waterfalls (along with Waimea Valley) on O’ahu. if you want something beautiful and unique with a bit of hiking, this is the spot for you!

venues:

7. Waialua Valley Farms

this beautiful new venue is a hidden gem on the North Shore with an incredible, insanely unique view of the mountains. it seriously looks like a painting! this venue is perfect for a small gathering of less than 25 people.

8. Kaimea Estates

a small estate on the water, this is the perfect spot for an intimate celebration (less than 60) if you want to bring some family or friends along to celebrate with you. established and run by a native hawaiian ‘ohana, this venue is a beautiful step away from the city.. even though it’s minutes away! located near Diamond Head, it’s the perfect place to spend an evening laughing and talking story.

9. Male’ana gardens

a gorgeous house on the edge of kailua beach, this beautifully curated garden is the perfect spot to have a small soiree or ceremony.

10. Tchin! Tchin!

an unusual but absolutely darling gem, tchin! tchin! bar is located in downtown honolulu, and its chic brick with warm atmosphere makes it a unique place to celebrate your “yes” and gleefully celebrate with pupus and wine!

wherever you decide to say “I do” and celebrate your love, I will be right there with you—I take care of the worry so you can just bask in the beauty of Hawai’i and your love~
