Hawaiʻi is more than a destination.
the atmosphere, the people, and the land are why getting married in Hawaiʻi is so special! this is also why it is important to come to Hawaiʻi with honour, heart, and respect.
Hawaiʻi is a people, a culture, a kingdom—we’re all guests here in a space kānaka maoli (native Hawaiians) are sharing with us. as I guide you through the elopement process, my top priorities are telling your story + treating the land and people of Hawaiʻi with aloha (love, honour, thoughtfulness).
I’m happy to help answer any questions you might have and even introduce you to cultural spaces if you’d like to volunteer while visiting. I don’t claim to be the voice of Hawaiians, but I do my best to know their heart and advocate on the land’s behalf as we love and dance on Hawaiʻi’s shores.
